Soup everyone!
In this article I’m sharing unique and delicious soup recipes that you can easily make and enjoy.
BEET SOUP
Ingredients:
3 cooked beets
2 turnips
4 slices of bacon
1 potato
1 big yellow onion
40 oz of veggie broth
7 oz of sour cream
2 TBP of olive oil
1) Peel all the veggies and wash them
2) Chop the onion
3) Cut the rest of the veggies in chunks
4) In a saucepan pour the olive oil and add the onion
5) On a medium heat cook the onion to give it a little color and then add the other veggies. Cook for 5 minutes. Do not forget to stir it.
6) Add the veggie broth, some salt and pepper and let everything cook for about 35 minutes at low heat.
7) Once cooked served it in bowls.
8) Before eating add a little bit of sour cream on top of the soup and some baked bacon.
The soup is ready enjoy!
FRENCH ONION SOUP
Ingredients:
12 medium yellow onions
6 slices of bread
50 ounces of warm chicken broth
45 g of unsalted butter
1 clove of garlic
15 g of flour
Some Shredded Swiss cheese
Salt and pepper
1) Peel, wash and chop the onions
2) In a saucepan at medium heat add the unsalted butter and the onions. Cook the onions until they look caramelized.
3) Once the onions cooked add the flour and stir everything
4) Add the warm chicken broth, salt and pepper and let it cook for 15 minutes
5) Meanwhile toast the bread and cut it in squares.
6) Once the soup cooked pour the soup in bowls that can go in the oven.
7) Rub the garlic on the bread
8) Place the bread on top of the soup and add some shredded Swiss cheese
9) Place the bowl(s) underneath the broiler until the cheese melt. Watch it to avoid the cheese to burn.
The soup is ready!
RADISH LEAVES SOUP
Ingredients:
Leaves from about 24 radishes
6 radishes
40 ounces of veggie broth
2 potatoes
7 oz of sour cream
1 Tsp of unsalted butter
Salt and pepper
1) Wash the radish leaves and dry them on a paper towel
2) Peel, wash and chop the onion
3) Peel, wash and cut the potatoes in cubes
4) In a saucepan at medium heat place the butter and melt it. Add the chopped onion and the radish leaves. Stir it and cook for 3 minutes.
5) Add the potatoes and cook it for 1 minute.
6) Add the veggie broth, salt and pepper and cook it for 20 minutes at low heat.
7) Once cooked blend it.
8) Serve it in bowls with a little bit of sour cream on top.
